Beads are 8mm and 6mm sky blue jade with 6mm moonstone as spacers and 10mm aquamarine guru bead.
I wanted to create some necklaces that have a similar feel to malas, but are shorter so I designed this “3s” series to have 3 x 3 = 9 sections of 8 beads separated by spacer beads brought together by a guru bead and finished off with a tassel. I have hand-knotted at each spacer bead. The chord used is extremely strong! All beads are natural stone. All tassels are hand-made by me with thread from Germany. No glue is used.
I have always been drawn to multiples of 3 and the number 8 so I use these in most of my designs. Here is a bit of info on these powerful numbers.
