These 7"x5" paintings were made with the same paint, although Life's Layers has silver and Life As We Know It does not.
They symbolize how life has many layers and can be calm or messy. Kind of like how people portray themselves on social media - fairly smooth and polished - vs how life really is - messy at times! - lol.
They are coated in many layers of clear gloss to give them depth and protection.
